A fantastic opportunity to purchase a 70x12ft Wide beam built by Viking Canal Boats. This boat is sold with an incredibly rare mooring in the centre of Windsor, 30 seconds from Windsor and Eton Riverside station with direct links to London Waterloo.
The vessel was commissioned by the current owners in 2014 and has been used as an exclusive hotel since then offering luxury weekend cruises along the Thames. The new owners would have the option to continue this extremely successful boutique business or just use the boat as a convenient, extremely stylish houseboat. The new properties next to the houseboat are being sold for over £2.5 million so this is a desirable place to be.
Viking Boats are always fitted out to an extremely high standard but this is the best we've seen so far. The owners were meticulous in getting it how they wanted and it really shows as you move through the boat. Each room is extremely well appointed and this underlies the success that the owners have had running it as a hotel.
The boat is very well equipped on deck with a bowthruster for help mooring up and fantastic cockpit and cratch cushions. There is a bespoke table for the bow area which you won't see on any other wide beams. Mechanically the vessel has been meticulously maintained. The engine is amazingly quiet with lots of sound insulation and a hospital silencer. The owners are often asked whether they have an electric engine.
The boat is also fitted with eight solar panels, a 9KW generator and an engine powered inverter to make sure all the 240V appliances can run when you're on the move.
The Windsor mooring is available to any new owner and there is no transfer fee. Mooring rates are currently £330 a month.
