Electrical
AC electrical system consists of a 30 amp shorepower cord and socket in the cockpit. There is a 30 amp galvanic isolator in line between the inlet and a Blue Seas breaker panel. AC power is distributed to a Statpower 40 amp battery charger and four outlets throughout the boats interior via individual breakers. A small Xantrex inverter provides power for electronics.
The DC power system consists of two "4D" sized Victron Energy gel cell batteries for a house bank, and a group 24 sized AGM battery for engine starting.
The two banks are charged together from the various charging sources and isolated during discharge. DC power regeneration is provided through several sources. There is a 120 amp Ample Power alternator on the engine, three solar panels, and a Rutland 913 wind generator, all running through an Ample Power "Next Step" smart regulator and EMON monitoring system.
All charging and switching operations for the various equipment occurs automatically and is controlled by the Ample Power system. DC power distribution is through several breaker panels located at the navigation station.
All of the equipment and wiring was replaced during the rebuild in 2004 and most of the interior and navigation lighting has been replaced with LED bulbs.

Starting forward, the bow area contains the chain locker and a work bench and seat with several storage areas beneath. Goiot hatch above provides access to deck and windlass.

Aft of the forward bulkhead is a full-sized, Pullman-style berth to port and bench seat and hanging locker to starboard, with storage both outboard and beneath each. A large Lewmar hatch above berth provides ventilation. Step-through openings of forward two bulkheads are hung with curtains.
Main bulkhead aft of double berth houses the mast step with removable panels to access mast wiring. Main cabin aft has head to port with sliding door and bench seat / quarterberth to starboard. Head contains sink with hot/cold pressure water, Lavac manual toilet, and separate stall with sit-down shower. There are storage areas beneath the sink and outboard of the shower stall.
There is a large Lewmar hatch above the head for ventilation, and the shower has its own sump/box for discharging shower water overboard. The bench seat in the main cabin is over 6'6" making for a very comfortable sea berth, with lots of storage beneath and outboard and another large Lewmar hatch above. In the main cabin is a built-in file cabinet for ship's papers, and a Sigmar diesel heater. The heater is gravity fed from the main fuel tank, and includes a Hella Turbo fan mounted to the overhead and a "stack robber" heat exchanger for heat distribution. Owner states the heat output is ample for year-round use in most climates.

A single step up from the main cabin area takes you to the dinette/galley area. The dinette area has a drop down table with two fold-out leafs for comfortable seating of up to six or sleeping for two. The galley features a gimbaled Force 10 three-burner propane stove with oven, a large SS sink with hot/cold pressure water and a top load fridge using a Frigoboat water-cooled refrigeration system. There is counter-top space above the fridge and a flip-up counter extension next to the sink, with a smaller Lewmar hatch above the stove for ventilation. Additional storage is located below and outboard of the dinette seating as well as below the sink. The galley/dinette area has a raised doghouse from the flush deck with encircling windows to provide excellent light and visibility.

Aft of the galley is the navigation station with a large chart table. At the aft bulkhead of the navigation station are all the electrical breaker panels and the control panel for the electrical monitoring equipment. The outboard wall of the navigation station has a flat panel computer monitor and all of the interior electronics. There is a pass-through aft for access to the fuel tank, electrical connections, and water strainer for the fridge pump.

Aft of the dinette is a quarter-berth with very large storage area beneath.

Midships aft is the companionway ladder to the cockpit with the engine box beneath. Engine access is through the top of the box or a removable front panel for routine checks, or the entire box is removable for access to the machinery components.

Comentario del broker

This steel-hulled sloop was heavily built in France from the Kurlande 38 design, and was constructed to be a "go anywhere" vessel. She was surveyed including ultrasound in 2005 and 2010 with no issues identified.
The interior was totally rebuilt in 2004 and features a mix of tongue-and-groove painted white, with vertical grain fir trim. This is a perfect couple's boat designed to journey in comfort and safety.
