Very comfortable motor sailor, with a spacious interior and enclosed pilot house for all weather comfort. Secure dry cockpit with hard bimini over. Beautifully presented, realistically priced and well maintained, this Seahorse Mandarin 52 should be on the short list for anyone looking for an ocean going motor sailer. The current ( third owners ), who are now retiring to a new home in Bali, bought her in 2010 and have sailed her to the Andaman Islands, throughout Indonesia, to Darwin Australia and Papua and, of course, back to Thailand.
Last slipped at Phuket’s Boat Lagoon Marina between April and December 2016 for new paint for hull & top sides, and refinishing of the interior teak.
The underwater surfaces have been scraped to the fiberglass and re-epoxied then finished with Copper Coat ( no Blisters ).
All rigging was replaced in 2011 due to chain plate crevice corrosion, the chain plates were replaced and reattached outside the hull for easy inspection.
All electronics including Raymarine chart plotters, radar, depth sounder, "Iridium Go" Sat phone, GPS's etc are year 2011 or later. All Victron Energy electrical system including Lithium Ferric Oxide house battery bank, AGM start batteries, inverter & solar panels are from year 2011 or later. The Norther Lights diesel generator was new in 2011.
