A pretty little boat and very capable sea going vessell. She is fitted with a recent 2017 Beta Marine 25hp engine under 60 hours, she also boasts a set of 2019 sails.
Owner comments:
Boat has been extensively restored to a high standard. New sails in 2019 and new running rigging. Wooden cockpit and wooden parts on the boat have been revarnished/oiled. Chainplates re-galvanized & powder coated, parts of standing rigging replaced and readjusted by Ocean Rigging in Lymington. Boat electrics has been completely redesigned with 5 domestic batteries and a “walk on” solar panel system including battery chargers and an inverter 230V/2000W. Wood stove for heating installed in 2020 including a draft booster (12V/2A) in 2023. New steering wheel in 2021 including complete pedestal and steering assembly (all stainless steel & some bronze parts). Only Pintail with wheel steering. The boat has been sailed from Brightlingsea to the Solent via Dover and Eastbourne in 2021. New antifoul and relaunched in February 2024 and sailed from Bucklers Hard to Emsworth. The boat is currently in Emsworth on a swinging mooring and ready to sail. Electrics, navigation system, engine, sails and lights are all in running order. She has been freshly antifouled 3 days before launch which was on the 22nd of February 2024 and ready for the season.
