This Phantom-Chaudron 25 sports boat / race boat was built in Europe and was outfitted by Cougartek to racing specification. The advanced deep-V hull form gives outstanding performance and speeds of over 58 knots (107 kph) have been recorded on GPS.
The construction is in heavy duty GRP and seating is provided by two bucket seats forward and an aft bench seat for three persons. She is powered by a Mercury Racing V6 3.2 liter Optimax 300 SX outboard with a racing lower leg featuring low water intake to allow the motor to run in an elevated position. In addition to power trim and stainless steel trim tabs she is fitted with a stainless steel CNC power jack plate that enables the immersion of the propeller to be adjusted. Teleflex racing specification hydraulic steering is fitted with an extra heavy duty ram assembly. The steering wheel is a genuine Momo. A foot throttle enables the driver to respond instantly to sea conditions and the boat comes complete with an Indespension four wheel trailer.
