Known for innovative design and quality construction the Nicols yard is one of the most prolific constructers of inland waterway craft in France both for the hire fleets and private motor cruiser markets. Heavily constructed to cope with hire fleet life, the NICOLS 1000 has the convivial “all an one level” day spaces and aft deck with cabin accommodation forward and just two steps down. This sedan left the NICOLS boatyard in 1993 & has been in private ownership since 2009. New electrics including shore power line, battery charger and immersion heater 2009. New canvas fitted in 2010. Last antifouled in 2014 & 2 new batteries in 2015.

Enter the saloon galley from the aft deck via the huge "French windows" that open right up to give a light bright and convivial layout. Galley to port with BIG fridge freezer from 2009. There is room to seat eight people at the table and it can be lowered to form a huge double bed. Helm position forward to starboard & there is an outside helm up on the flybridge.
Forward & just 2 steps down we reach the cabins & 2 wet-rooms each with heads and showers. 2 coffin bed cabins with standing height at the entrances with double beds (140 x 195 cm & 135 x 180 cm), cupboards and closets. Right forward is the owners cabin with its central bed (140 x 190 cm), its numerous storage facilities and "Houdini" new in 2010. The side windows of this cabin were also renewed in 2014.
Curtains inside, exterior sun-blinds and many opening windows, assure a constant ventilation and shade.
Floors have been redone by the current owners in 2012.
Central heating from a gas fired Truma warm air unit and hot water from an immersion tank & engine heat exchanger
