Comentario del broker
Believed to have been Inspired by the design of an East Coast Shrimper, the Matelot 20 must be regarded as a proper little fishing/pleasure boat, with sails, rather than a true sailor.
Originally commissioned for the first owner in the Royal Navy Reserve, she has been in the current owners' hands for over 30 years, only now for sale as they are retiring from sailing.
She benefits from a deep and safe cockpit, comfortably seating six adults, and a frugal inboard diesel engine. She has a snug forward cabin with two berths, ideal to shelter from the summer squalls or enjoy a relaxing snooze after a picnic lunch!
When sailing takes your fancy a gaff rig will provide lots of interest for young shipmates, but is also easily handled by the skipper alone.
All in all, an excellent daysailing or motoring pleasure boat with the capacity to weekend aboard.
These boat details are subject to contract.
