As featured at the London International Boat Show, Marathon Powerboats Q48 features twin Seatek 850HP diesel engines running surface drives, good for 90+ MPH. She has a custom interior cabin fit-out, upholstery and bespoke sports seats with accent features inspired by Ferrari. Marathon came into being in 2003 and is the embodiment of the Marathon sporting spirit -which in San Benedetto del Tronto in Italy, designs and produces sports craft, component technology and transmissions for both pleasure and competition craft. The corse sector is a branch of the company with resources dedicated to the continuous technological development of the models in production, through taking part in the most challenging and important motorboat competitions reserved for/dedicated to craft designed for the pleasure and work market.
The Q48 is the natural evolution of the Model Race. The experience gained by participating and winning two World Championships, three Italian Championships and one European Championships, has created the Q48.
