We are very pleased to list this Hunter Liberty 23 for sale with Boatshed Cornwall.
This is one of the British David Thomas designed Hunter's, built by Hunter Boats Ltd (UK). It is reported that only nineteen of these 23’s were manufactured based on the Liberty 22.
For those who know these yachts, the windows are in fact from the 22 design. This is the Cat Ketch rig with later yachts being gaff rigged sloop known as the Minstrel 23.
Overall, this appeared to be a well maintained Liberty with clean decks and cockpit. Once onboard, the trend continued to appear very well maintained. There has been quite a lot of TLC applied to this example and includes:
Renewed Deck Hatch (2024)
Renewed Kemp sails (2024)
Renewed outboard (2020)
This is a great little Hunter Liberty sailing yacht that will provide shallow water sailing and without the hassle of standing rigging. With new sails by Kemp and brand new Dyneema running rigging there is not much more to think about.
We highly recommend a viewing is the only way to really appreciate this example.
