Barge for sale.
This vessel was built in 1901 using mild steel. It was constructed as a flat bottomed Dutch Steel barge with the hull part riveted and part welded.
Aesthetically she is a really nice looking boat, which was refurbished in 2006. The boat is great for living in as a family but not too big to cruise as a couple.
Only 50 hours on the Ford New Holland engine that was newly installed 6 years ago.

4 large berths with 2 double berths make this a really spacious boat with a nice feel. A very comfortable room with free standing furniture in the main saloon.You would easily be able to have on or two sofa beds in the main saloon and create more berths if needed.
The saloon has a dinette to port with a separate head and shower to port. She has a well equipped galley including a fridge and gas cooker making it an ideal boat to cruise or live on. There is a steel skylight and oil fired heater providing heat during the winter months. She has a comfortable wooden wheelhouse too.

These boat details are subject to contract.
This barge has a really homely feel. Her current owner has spent lots of money on her in the right areas. Over the last 6 years she has been refitted, insulated, new engine installed, generator installed and a whole host of other things done to her. The main saloon is nicely decorated and has freestanding furniture so you can easlily change it if you prefer. The galley is a little dated but functional.
A barge of this size is far easier to handle for a couple and you will be able to explore more places too. There is enough space for a small family and plenty of storage too.
