This is a good example of the 5.8 class built in Ireland and successfully raced in the 2021 GLOBE 5.80 Transat.
The boat is built according to the standard 5.8 design and guidelines. It represents a basic build and fit out of this particular design. The boat was photographed by us prior to starting the race and the boat is now available for viewing in Martinique.
The boat includes all safety and electronic equipment. The boat is in commission and ready to sail.
Purchasing a completed boat saves time and money, plus means a prospective competitor for future 5.80 events has more time for practice and familerisation.
5.80 boats are also very suitable for family cruising and sailing, which is an integral part of the design. The boats can be shipped in a container of towed on a trailer using a medium sized car or SUV.
