De Groot motor cruiser from 1970 with Gardner 6LW engine. Cruises at 640RPM & with a 3m beam swims like a fish. Great French waterways and coastal boat which already has many sea miles under her keel and some really cleaver mods. by her engineer owner to make life aboard more practical and comfortable. Last hull sounding was in 2003

Forward cabin with Houdini hatch single V berths one 2.4m x 0.6m the other 1.75m x 0.70m. En suite heads with slide out wash basin and a shower. Aft to Galley (to starboard) and double dinette to port. Galley is equipped with electric fridge (24v & 220v) gas cooker with oven, grill and 2 burner hob. Good domestic sized stainless sink. In all a very practical galley. Opposite is the dinette which converts to a bed 1.9m x 1.3m. There are two table options. A small half round for a couple or the full table which doubles as the bed. Up aft is the wheelhouse with Gardner 6LW under the sole. Comfortable and bright saloon with side access doors both sides to facilitate manoeuvres. Not only surprisingly comfortable given the beam but also very stable! Aft again to storage area starboard with pullout fridge. Second WC opposite to port then the owners aft cabin with bed 1.95m x 1.2m hanging lockers & dresser with washbasin. Hot water supplied from an immersion tank 220v (on shore power) plus heated by engine.

Dutch steel cruiser for sale in France. Boatshed Midi Canals is pleased to offer this De Groot motor cruiser for sale presently located in the Canal Lateral à la Garonne but able to navigate all French waterways and the Med. coast and beyond. I was very pleasantly surprised at the feeling of space and the stability of the boat as I entered the wheelhouse. Regardless of the 3m beam this is a comfortable cruiser for economically eating up the miles whether on salt or fresh water.
