Boatshed London is delighted to bring this superbly maintained 21m Dutch Barge to the market, available with a prime mooring at Imperial Wharf Pier.
The wheelhouse and newly installed dome are the perfect places to sit, relax and watch the comings and goings on the River Thames.
Built in 2006 by Delta Marine, this Luxemotor barge is clearly very well built and presented in excellent condition throughout. The current owners have also used the boat to explore the Thames and she cruises very nicely with plenty of power from the Perkins engine meaning you can punch the tide if necessary.
The vessel boasts two large cabins forward and aft. The well-equipped galley leads on to the open-plan saloon, featuring a solid fuel stove. The boat is also heated by a powerful Kabola diesel-powered boiler, supplying both hot water and heating the radiators distributed throughout the boat. The current owners have added Nest thermostats so the heating can now be controlled remotely. There is also a large area between the saloon and cabin which is currently set up as an office.
The good-sized heads/bathroom features a walk-in shower and an electric-flushing loo.
The mooring is transferable upon application to the mooring management company. Imperial Wharf Pier has excellent transport links with Chelsea pier (2 mins walk) and Imperial Wharf station (3 mins walk) providing quick links to central London. Being out on the river means you get a much greater feeling of space and being connected to the river. The mooring gets sun all day long as there are no tall buildings surrounding you, unlike in the various marina basins.
The vessel was last out of the water in 2017. The boat can be sold with or without furniture.
