Boatshed London are delighted to offer this Alpha 29 with London mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16. This would make an ideal, easy to maintain, floating home or pied-a-terre for someone that needs an affordable place in London.
Built in 1992, this Alpha 29 has been brought up to an immaculate standard by the current owner and the photos of the engine bay are evidence of the care and attention they put into looking after her. The decks have just been repainted in non-slip paint and the interior redecorated.
Built of GRP and with lots of covers for the windows, you can leave this boat for weeks at a time and not have to worry about her, another benefit if she is to be used as a pied-a-terre.
There is lots of light throughout and a good sized double bed in the aft cabin which has an ensuite heads and shower. The galley is situated in what would have originally been a forward cabin and there is a good sized storage cupboard there too.
A great boat for exploring the river too with its dual steering positions and you can reach Richmond in 3 hours from South Dock to cruise the non-tidal Thames.
The boat is sold with a transferable residential mooring at South Dock Marina and being only 29ft, the mooring fees are only £500pcm. There is no transfer fee for this particular boat.
